In the Ashgabat Palace of Mukams (or Melodies) opened the Days of Culture of the city of Vienna, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Broadcasting of Turkmenistan jointly with the Austrian colleagues. The concert was attended by ballet dancers, opera singers and musicians – soloists of the famous Viennese ensembles, including symphony orchestra of I. Strauss. Austrian musicians also met with their counterparts in the Turkmen National Conservatoire and gave a master class for college students.
A photo exhibition opened, on the eve in the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the Austrian capital. It consisted of about 200 works by Austrian photographer Harry Weber in a series of “The Vienna Project, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan” (TDH). Continue reading

The powerful flow of natural gas was obtained during testing of well N 1 at Minara field located in Yoloten district of Mary province.
Testing of well N 1 was a regular stage of complex work being carried out to determine its productivity and to prepare it for industrial use. A daily flow rate obtained there accounted to more than 1 mm cm of gas. According to experts, it greatly surpasses the flow rate of gas from existing fields. Continue reading
