Accord signed to set up Jordan promotion centre in Kazakhstan

An agreement was signed on Sunday, April 25th, to officially open a Jordan trade promotion centre in Kazakhstan in a bid to enable local companies to penetrate central Asian markets.

The agreement, signed between Jordan Enterprises Development Corporation (JEDCO) and Kazakh company Jordan Gate, seeks to increase commercial exchange between Jordan and Kazakhstan and to promote Jordanian products there. Continue reading

A summit of world religious leaders has started in Azerbaijani capital

President Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva have attended the opening of the summit which brought nearly 250 delegates from 35 countries together.

The event is organized by the CIS Interreligious Council, the largest organization in the post-Soviet space dealing with relations between people of different religious traditions. Continue reading

First concert of mobile festival “Melodies of friends” will be held in Dushanbe

In the second half of April in Dushanbe has been planned a big gala concert of Russian pop stars and the Commonwealth “Melodies of friends”, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

According to event organizer, the director of the State of tour and concert agency “Bazmoro” Ilyosa Tilloeva, the concert will be attended by People’s Artist of Russia Lev Leshenko, Parviz Hasanov from Azerbaijan, Sergei Obosyan from Armenia, Soso Pavliashvili from Georgia, Anatoly Yarmolnik from Belarus, Lima Vaykule from Latvia, Taisiya Povaliy from Ukraine, Anne Veski from Estonia and Rustam Isoev from Tajikistan.

In the concert program, along with the songs of the war years, will feature well-known and liked by many viewers contemporary pop songs.

According to the festival, concerts are planned in Ashgabat on April 28th, in Dushanbe on May 13th, as well as in Bishkek, and Kant.
