Day of Unity of people of Kazakhstan is holiday of Kazakhstan patriotism
Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan is a holiday of the Kazakhstan patriotism and devotion to country, said the President of Kazakhstan, Nurlustan Nazarbayev, on the capital’s main square.
“Respected Kazakhstan citizens, dear Astana dwellers, I warmly congratulate you on this remarkable holiday on May 1, Day of Unity of people of Kazakhstan,” N. Nazarbayev said.
“Dear compatriots, Day of Unity of people of Kazakhstan is a holiday of the Kazakhstan patriotism, devotion to our country, the people, selfless love to the our fathers’ land. I wish all Kazakhstan citizens, all of you, sound health, happiness and well-being. May there be peace and prosperity in each Kazakhstan house”.
Charitable Forum Marathon to be held in Uzbek capital
For the first time in Uzbekistan a charitable Forum Marathon will take place on May 13 in Uzbekistan. The Marathon will be organized by the Fund Forum, the Women’s Council, “In the Name of Life” Association of Women and EUROPA DONNA-Uzbekistan with assistance from the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan. “Yr-Kese” – festival among labor migrants from Kyrgyzstan started in Moscow
On May 1-2 in “House of Cinema”, Moscow, a gala concert of the first round of the festival “Yr-Kese” was held, arranged by the Kyrgyz, who live in Russia.
According to the organizers, within two months more than a thousand contestants auditioned for singing, dancing and playing the national instruments. As a result, more than sixty contestants were given the right to participate in the first round. Following two days of competition, in the first round 38 contestants were selected.
The jury consisted of seven men: heads of public organizations and elders chaired by the former mayor of Bishkek Boris Silaev. Continue reading
