7th International “Medicine – 2010” exhibition will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

MedexpoThe grand opening of the 7th International exhibition “Medicine-2010” will be held in the State Historical Museum, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on March 30, 2010, reported the press service of the Ministry of Health of the KR.

The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Health, Department of medicine and medical equipment, medical consulting company Avanko. According to the Ministry, the exhibition is held, because of the large interest from the medical community in Kyrgyzstan and the positive experience of previous exhibitions.

During the period of 2009-2012, in Kyrgyz Republic international programs are implemented, such as: “The fight against tuberculosis – III – IV» (Germany) – EUR 5 million, “Maternal and child – IV» (KfW) – 6 million euros , “Strengthening emergency medical services in Kyrgyzstan – II stage (Germany) – EUR 6 million, the Global Fund project for the development of prevention programs on HIV / AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria – 38 million USD.,« HIV / AIDS »(KfW) – 4,5 million euros. Also, the purchase of medical equipment and medical products for 3 million euros for the Family Medicine Center, Family Physicians Group and the regional maternity hospitals in the program SWAp is planned.

In all of the projects modern medical equipment, medicines and consumables are planned to be bought. In addition, the purchase of medical equipment and medicines by the Fund of obligatory medical insurance and the budget of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan is carried out.

One of the objectives of the exhibition “Medicine-2010” – the formation of market quality and affordable health care, to strengthen the health of the population. This is a unique opportunity for health workers to see the latest developments in the field of innovative medical technology, pharmacy and medical technology.

The exhibition will be presented to various medical equipment, including dental, laboratory and diagnostic equipment, medical instruments, consumables, pharmaceuticals and other medical products. It brings together more than 140 companies – manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment and medicines.

Such companies as Human, Philips, Kodak, Wigand, Federal State Unitary Enterprise, Electron, and others will present their products. Domestic manufacturers of medical equipment, such as the company Dustan, KyrgyzMedtehnika will also participate.

The exhibition also provides scientific and practical seminars and presentations by foreign and domestic companies, international donor agencies. The exhibition will hold a ceremony of transferring to the Ministry of Health a mobile health center and a mobile digital fluorography, reported the Ministry of Health of the KR.
