    Baku to host 1st annual symposium of researchers of international relations

    First annual symposium of the researchers of international relations will take place in Baku on October 22-23.
    Organizers of the symposium held a press conference on Tuesday. Representative of the Caucasus University Rovshan Ibrahimov said international relations were a new research field for Azerbaijan and primarily this field was restricted with the education of diplomats at the different universities. Emphasizing the development of Azerbaijan, Ibrahimov said it became an important research sphere. Read more »

    Kazakhstan participated in Microsoft annual conference

    A delegation of Kazakhstan consisting of the representatives of the Kazakh Embassy in the U.S.A, the National Center of Biotechnologies, NAT Kazakhstan JSC, MONT Distribution LLC and Microsoft Kazakhstan took part in an annual Worldwide Partner Conference of Microsoft Company - world-known leader in computer technologies.

    The Worldwide Partner Conference aimed to promote business of the Company’s partners is a platform of discussion of the tendencies and prospects of development of the partner network and the main source of information on developments, strategies and state of IT-market in whole.

    More than 10 thousand representatives of Microsoft partner companies and over 100 diplomatic missions accredited in the U.S.A. participated in the event.

    The Kazakh side prepared a stand devoted to investment climate, economic and tourist potential of the country and development of IT-business.

    Turkmenistan celebrated Harvest Festival - Galla Bayramy

    According to tradition, Turkmenistan celebrated the national holiday - Galla Bayramy on July 18, which is the third Sunday of the month. This remarkable holiday was celebrated with a grand festive program, which included scientific forums, art exhibitions, fairs, competitions, concerts and sporting events. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to grain growers and machine operators and all the fellow countrymen on the occasion of Galla Bayramy.

    “The growth of the agricultural industry of Turkmenistan to the current level, further improvement of social conditions of rural populations, full support to a farmer, abundance of wheat, cotton, vegetables and melons, ensuring a prosperous life of the people these are the basic directions of our agrarian reform, the message said. We have made a decisive step towards the transformation of the Turkmen villages, improving the organization of agricultural work, creating the abundance of agricultural products. In a word, we have made significant progress in this area and agriculture-related industries.”

    The president said that “the results of hard work of farmers of Turkmenistan became a worthy gift to the 19th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, a guarantee of welfare, prosperity and stability of the state, an inexhaustible source of the generosity of the ancient and eternally young Turkmen land.”
