From July 23 to 25, 2010, an exhibition will be opened, called “Asian Reunion on Silk Road, in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the exhibition will present paintings of Japanese artist Izumi Sakamoto and Kyrgyz artist Rahat Itikeev. Read more »
SSTL has commenced building a small satellite for the Republic of Kazakhstan that will provide medium resolution multi-spectral earth observation capability to complement the high resolution satellite that is being provided by EADS Astrium as part of the contract awarded to the company in October 2009.
The international forum entitled “Central Asia Water Dialogue Meeting: Implementation of the IFAS Summit Conclusions and Outcomes of the UN Secretary-General’s visit to Central Asia” took place in the Turkmen capital. The participants of the forum held at the UN Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia were the high-ranking officials of the Central Asian governments and the authoritative international organizations including the United Nations, the European Union, OSCE, the World Bank and the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS). The representatives of the Afghan Government and UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan took part as observers.
