British company shoots report about Bukhara for Discovery channel

Tashkent, Uzbekistan ( — A crew of the British company Pioneer Productions is shooting a report on about one of the ancient cities of Uzbekistan – Bukhara – for Discovery Networks International channel, the press service of Uzbektourism said.

Discovery Networks International channel covers 2.8 billion audience in 220 countries and territories.

The project is conducted in cooperation with Uzbektourism and World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) on wide promotion of Great Silk Road brand.

Prominent TV anchor and writer David Baddiel, working for leading TV channels as BBC2, ITV and Sky One for over 10 years, will tell the audience about Great Silk Road cities, their rich history and traditions.

The project is one of the largest on covering historic importance of Great Silk Road in development of civilizations. The report will be shown at Discovery channel in the end of 2015.
