International Diversity Festival London 2017 (IDFL) to take place in September

On 23.08.17, British, Indian and Turkish Business Forum (BITBF) confirmed that International Diversity Festival London 2017 (IDFL) will take place on the 22nd of September 2017 at Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall. The theme of the 2017 Festival is “Unite, Embrace and Grow”.

The BITBF Chairman, Southwark Councillor Sunil Chopra said the festival’s aim is to connect different groups and faiths and to recognise the outstanding work of London’s ethnic minority entrepreneurs, business professionals, social enterprises, artists and individuals. He specified the importance of the event in breaking the barriers and encouraging further interethnic collaboration.

The press-conference was sponsored by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Okan Corporation. The organizers believe that the initiative will further promote the social, cultural and economic benefits of diversity in the UK.

IDFL 2017, a non-profit festival, is supported by 16 embassies including: India, Turkey, Russia, Mexico, Honduras, Turkmenistan, Laos, Lithuania, Mauritius, Maldives, North Cyprus, Bulgaria, Sierra Leone, Uzbekistan, Mozambique and Maldives.
