On July 16, annual international festival “Issyk-Kul Kadyr Tunu – 2010” opens in Cholpon- Ata, Issyk-Kul region in Kyrgyzstan.
The international festival is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Issyk-Kul region, organized with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of economic resources, Issyk-Kul oblast state administration and the Issyk-Kul rayon administration.
The event will take place in the cultural center “Ruh Ordo”, named after Chyngyz Aitmatov in Cholpon-Ata on two genres: folk and pop vocal singing.
According to the Ministry of Culture, the festival will involve about 40 new artists from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The jury will consist of composer Muratbek Begaliev, singers Rosa Amanova, Yuriy Bobkov, Zhamila Muratova, Yryskeldi Osmonkulov.
