The Works-in-Progress Series Returns for the Spring 2011 Season!!!

American Councils for International Education and the Caucasus Research Resource Centers present the 1st installment of the Spring 2011 Tbilisi Works-in-Progress Series:

Dr. Donnacha Ó Beacháin, Dublin City University Kyrgyzstan 2005 and 2010: A Comparative Analysis of Regime Collapse

Dr. Ó Beacháin is Marie Curie Fellow and Lecturer at the School of Law and Government at Dublin City University. He is the author of numerous works on revolutions and regime change in the former Soviet space as well as on Irish history and politics. Among other publications, he is the co-editor of the recent book The Colour Revolutions in the Former Soviet Republics: Successes and Failures (Routledge, 2010).

The goals of the Works-in-Progress series are:

* To provide support and productive criticism to those researching  and developing academic projects pertaining to Georgia and the Caucasus region, and

* To engage and grow the vibrant academic community living in Tbilisi, and local residents, with a more consistent level of discourse, discussion, and debate in consideration of the most curious matters concerning Georgia and its neighbors.

The Works-in-Progress series is free and open to the public, and all interested persons are welcome and encouraged to attend.
