Kyrgyz students will participate in Univision International Student Song Contest in Baku (Azerbaijan), which will be held in May this year, chief of department on work with youth organizations of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Youth of Kyrgyzstan Murataly Uchkempirov told AKIpress on April 28.
He noted that the selection of the participants will be held on April 29 in the Ministry of Youth.
The contest is expected to bring together participants from 30 countries: Brazil, Russia, Europe and America. Kyrgyzstan will be presented by a team of 5 people: one member of the judge and 4 artists. The purpose of the contest is to support talented youth and international youth cooperation. This contest is a prototype of Eurovision and will be held in the same place, he said.
He stressed that the all the talented students, not only professionally trained in this field, can take part in the contest.
