The International Caravanserai of Culture of Uzbekistan under the Academy of Arts opened an exhibition “The Culture of the Ancient Chach”.
The International Caravanserai of Culture conducted a series of activities on organization of archaeological expeditions to the sites of worship, towns, memorials, as well as on observation, restoration of ancient findings and their careful conservation.
Archeological discoveries found during the expeditions to the memorial complexes of Korshovultepa in Chinaz district and Konka in Akkurgan district of Tashkent region were presented to the participants of the exhibition.
Ornaments, coins, household items and pottery not only enrich the history of Ancient Chach but also suggest that representatives of various ethnic groups had lived in peace from ancient times on this land, says the message of the Academy of Arts.
Significance of the expeditions held by the International Caravanserai of Culture was discussed at the round-table within the event.
