The project is launched in Sofia in 2004 by V. Slavin, V. Rozova and M. Khafizova Jahnke. Since 2009 to date, five concerts – all charity fund raisers have happened in St Petersburg.

In St Petersburg “The Club” is made up of highly talented professional and amateur musicians, members of the Diplomatic Corps, expatriates from International Organizations, and local Russian musicians.

Interesting and entertaining international programmes create the intimate atmosphere of a friendly soiree with a wide variety of music in many styles and genres covering all musical periods from the Early to the Contemporary Music. The multi-lingual programmes are a contrasting mixture of solos, duets and ensembles of different sizes performed to a wide range of instrumental accompaniment. Project’s artists in St Petersburg represent Germany, Turkey, Great Britain, Cyprus, Latvia, USA, Syria, Poland, Argentina, Australia, Denmark, France, Netherlands, and Russia.

Mila Khafizova Jahnke is born, raised and lived for 26 years in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Living among the people of many nations, she, like many from that region, acquired a very rich complex of qualities, very helpful in life: interest and respect to other cultures, the feeling of importance of friendship and assistance when in need, hospitality, and many others. All these, among the others, play now an important role in uniting in the same project a Turk and a Greek Cypriot, Russians and Germans, people of different background, age, and music skills in order to create a truly international group of friends, who, while enjoying themselves performing music, are proud and happy to do it for a good cause.
