Reconsidering Central Asian Societies – that will be the question of the third Central Asian Anthropological Conference which will take place in Bishkek on 8-9 May, 2010. The conference aims are to bring together professors, students, researchers and all interested to generate a dialogue on presented topic. Working languages of the conference will be Kyrgyz, Russian and English. Among goals of the conference are: development and promotion of Anthropology in the region, distribution of the outcomes among the local academic community, publication of the conference papers. During the conference will be discussed such questions as: changing role of Islam in post-soviet countries, development: theory and practices, Ethnicity and Culture Archaeology and Physical Anthropology, Teaching, Researching and Displaying History in Central Asia and Beyond..
