The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has engaged with the Academy of Civil Service of Turkmenistan to develop a roadmap for the Academy’s institutional development as part of the UNDP project to enhance the system of public administration in Turkmenistan. According to information released by UNDP, the document will be based on the review and analysis of the existing legal framework regulating the work of the Academy, its structure and mandate. The document is currently being finalized by UNDP’s international consultant on institutional development Ivanna Ibragimova in close cooperation and consultations with the Academy.
The UNDP consultant in the field of capacity development of national civil service organizations worked in Ashgabat from 13 to 20 June 2010 to provide guidance and expert advice to the key staff of the Civil Service Academy, its management and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate the development of the roadmap.
