Bishkek, July 13 / Kabar /. Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev and India Narendra Modi yesterday, attended in Bishkek the unveiling a monument to one of the leaders and ideologists of the national liberation movement of India Mahatma Gandhi.
Prime Ministers of the two countries were met by Kyrgyz and Indian students studying in Kyrgyzstan. Sariev noted merits of the spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi not only to India.
“Mahatma Gandhi has a truly planetary recognition. His teachings are still relevant, and the Gandhi is a guiding light for the world community. Opening of the monument to the great public figure in India – is the foundation of a strong friendship between our countries, ” said the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Prime Minister of India thanked Sariev and all the people of Kyrgyzstan for recognizing and honoring achievements of Mahatma Gandhi.
“I believe my visit to Kyrgyzstan is the continuation of a fruitful cooperation between our countries. India will remain a true friend and a strategic partner of Kyrgyzstan “, said the Prime Minister of India.
